Hosting is free for companies. The student funds the Island Internship programme support provided around their placement.
Do we have to accept a student you introduce?
Acceptance is always your decision. You meet the student first, and the placement moves forward when both sides agree.
How much supervision is expected?
Each intern needs a named company supervisor who can review and sign their learning goals or objectives. The supervisor also answers practical questions and provides feedback through periodic check-ins.
Who handles the university documents?
We coordinate the internship agreement, learning objectives, supervisor details, and evaluation documents with the student and university. Your team reviews and signs the company-specific sections.
Can we register before we have a final role description?
Yes. Tell us where you need support and what your team can supervise. We can help turn that into a realistic internship scope before matching begins.
