Common questions

Bali internship placements — FAQ

How does Island Internship match students with Bali placements?

After you apply, we review your degree, timeline, language level, and preferred work environment. We shortlist 2–3 verified host companies and present them before any commitment is made.

Are the Bali internship placements credit-eligible?

Yes. Every placement comes with a formal internship agreement, supervisor evaluations, and the documentation most European universities require for credit recognition. We help you coordinate with your academic supervisor before you fly.

What tracks are available for Bali internship placements?

Six tracks covering 22 roles: business and sales, marketing and brand, design and product, engineering and technology, science and sustainability, and hospitality and operations. Each has dedicated host companies in Bali across the Seminyak, Canggu, and Ubud startup corridors.

How long do Bali internship placements last?

Most placements run 10–24 weeks. The 10-week minimum satisfies the majority of European university credit requirements. Extensions up to six months are available depending on your host company and visa type.

Can I do a paid internship placement in Bali?

Some host companies offer a monthly stipend or contribution to living expenses. We indicate which shortlisted placements include compensation during your match review.
